1) What is SpanPlan?

SpanPlan is an easy to use, web based business management program for the Event Industry. It is designed to optimize and automate your business so you can build your relationships with your clients and spend more time enjoying life.

2) How do I switch from my program to SpanPlan?

With SpanPlan there is no software to download. Everything is accessible through your browser. When You Sign-Up, we will help to import your customers and get your business setup!

3) Can I use SpanPlan on my phone?

Yes! You can with the mobile version of SpanPlan that is to come.

4) Can I use my current website or do I need to create a new one?

You will continue to use your current website. SpanPlan will provide you with a link that can be integrated in your website to gather new contact information. This will replace your current Contact Us page on your website. Each account will be provided a sub domain. (Ex. Johnsphoto.SpanPlan.com)

5) Can I customize my SpanPlan website?

Yes! We've got several themes for you to choose from, and we're adding more all the time. You can further customize the themes by switching out pictures, fonts, colors and more. We've given you the tools to make your online space fit your personality.

6) Can I import my existing leads?

Yes you can import leads or customers from an Excel spreadsheet. With any other data we will assist you.

7) How do I Import Contacts from my Address Book?

You will be able to import contacts from Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail in .csv format.

8) What forms of payment can I accept through SpanPlan?

SpanPlan has integrated PayPal, Google Checkout, and Authorize.net. If you have an account with any of these you will be able to process Credit Cards through SpanPlan. For all other service providers you will be able to link them. It's safe and secure, so you won't have to store your customer's personal financial information for other's to access.

9) Does SpanPlan help with year-end tax reports?

As long as you use SpanPlan to track all of your Income and Expenses, you will have the year-end tax reports available for filing.

10) What kind of support do you offer?

We have help text and videos to guide you through the program. There are forums and chat applications that allow you to talk with us, email support, and of course phone support. If you have a problem or question, we're here to help you find answers. For more information on our support services, visit the support page.

11) Are there any support costs or setup fees?

No. Like we said earlier, you just pay your monthly fee, that’s it.

12) Can my assistant login and use my account?

Yes you can share your account. With the Virtual Assistant you can control who logs in and what they can access. If you have multiple employees who need unique logins then you would want to purchase either the Team or Enterprise plan depending on the number of employees.

13) How many computers can I use it on?

As many as you want! Since the program is web-based, it's not limited to a single computer. That means you can use it on any computer--Mac or PC--without paying for extra licenses like you would with a desktop application.

14) Can I try SpanPlan before becoming a member?

Your initial trial of SpanPlan is FREE! We welcome you to try the complete version of SpanPlan for 60 days. You can upgrade or cancel at any time since there are no contracts.

15) Do I have to download anything?

No! SpanPlan is all online. As long as your computer can connect to the internet, with a browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari (on a Mac or PC) then it can run SpanPlan. All feature and security updates are done by us. All you have to do is log on.

16) Will my information be safe on SpanPlan?

We take every precaution to make sure our member information is as safe and secure as possible. We use an encrypted network, virus protection, firewalls, and a moat with alligators in it. We're in the business of helping your business succeed, if we can't keep your information safe, that's not good business, and that's not what we're about. Your info, contacts, customers and accounts are all safe with us.

17) What happens to my data if I choose to cancel my subscription?

Before canceling you can download your contacts and your accounts. Once you leave, we'll scrap your data for security reasons, so be sure to take it with you before you leave. Really though, why would you leave us?

18) Who owns my data?

You own your information/data. As stated in our terms of use, SpanPlan does not obtain any right, title or interest in your information. SpanPlan will not use or sell any of your data.
